In this regard, the Federal Bureau of Statistics has released the weekly inflation report in the country. The report states that in the recent week the prices of 21 essential commodities increased and the prices of 9 commodities decreased while the prices of 21 commodities remained stable.
According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the prices of tomatoes have increased by 15.97%, the prices of onions by 9.38%, the prices of salt by 2.58%, the prices of potatoes by 2.88%, and the prices of matches by 1.34%.
The report states that 3.37% in the price of chicken, 1.75% in the price of LPG, 2.25% in the price of lentils, 1.08% in the price of pulses, 0.16% in the price of dal mash, vegetables, and ghee. Prices have decreased by 0.09 percent and flour prices by 0.07 percent.
The Bureau of Statistics said that prices of 21 essential commodities have been stable in recent weeks.
During the last week, the rate of inflation for the group having income up to 17 thousand 732 rupees per month is 26.72 percent, and 28.46 percent for the group having income from 17 thousand 733 rupees to 22 thousand 888 rupees per month on an annual basis. percent and the inflation rate increased by 30.29% for the income group from 22 thousand 889 rupees to 29 thousand 517 rupees per month.
Apart from this, the rate of inflation was 31.41% for the group having income from 29 thousand 518 rupees to 44 thousand 175 rupees per month while the rate of inflation was 31.67% for the group having income more than 44 thousand 176 rupees per month.
