Public Holidays 2024 in Pakistan Govt Notification
The federal Govt. of Pakistan on Monday announced the list of optional and public holidays in Pakistan in the 2024 year. The cabinet division has also issued the notification in this regard. The Govt. employees can avail of sixteen public holidays in 2024 and 22 optional holidays in the upcoming calendar year 2024.

According to the official notification the first public holiday is on Sunday, 5th February 2024 on account of Kashmir day in Pakistan. The second public holiday is Thursday 23rd March, Pakistan Day.
Optional Public Holidays 2024 in Pakistan
The Govt. servants who want to avail of optional holidays shall get prior permission from the head of the department. The Muslim Govt. servant can not avail of more than one optional holiday in a calendar year. And a maximum of three optional holidays for non-muslim Govt. servants in a calendar year. The optional leaves should be granted in a proper way so that the Govt. office work should not disturb. The banks will remain closed for the general public on 02nd January 2024 but not for the bank employees.
