THE UNIVERSITY OF PESHAWAR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM | MERIT LIST 2022-23
The University of Peshawar now announced the latest undergraduate program 2024-25 merit list first and second merit list on the UOP official website.
The candidates who had applied must visit the university’s official website and should visit the concerned department in the University to check the merit list or click on the link given below to check the provisional merit list.
Those candidates who are eligible must get a challan form and get admission to their concerned department. The University of Peshawar has also uploaded a provisional merit list for an undergraduate program for the 2024-25 session.
The provisional result has been announced on dated 09th of November, 2024. In case of any candidate has a complaint the candidate must fill the complaint Performa, to download the complaint Performa click on the link given below and submit in the office of the Directorate of admission of Peshawar University.

Overview of the University
The genesis of Peshawar University
Peshawar University was established in 1950, it was founded by Sahibzada A. Qayyum Khan 1950 who gave the idea of Islamia College Peshawar.
Establishment of Law College
Afterward, it was felt by the management of the university that there is a need for Law College and it soon started working on the building of the Peshawar University in the 1950s. It soon started providing the study of Law.
Establishment of the Islamiyat Department
The Islamist department was established in the 1950s after the establishment of the University in 1950. It started private and distance learning classes and so far this department has produced thousand of masters and Ph.D. scholars who are providing Islamic education in Pakistan as was all over the world.
Establishment of the Pashto Department
As the university is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the local language of the public is Pashto so the management decided to establish the Pashto Department in the year 1961’s and this department produced the first MA Pashto in 1963’s and produced lots of scholars who are promoting the Pashto language in the country.
Vision
The vision of the management is to recognize it as a prominent university as the university provides modern education facilities to local and foreign students.
Education
There are many private institutions in the city like schools, colleges, and academies that are providing higher education to the students of the City. The Peshawar University at present is the mother of all educational institutions which is located in the city center 06 KM on the Khyber by Pass road Peshawar.

Peshawar city has an international airport and also a railway line. Which has a connection to the rest of Pakistan. There is a large number of local transport in the city. The University of Peshwar is providing transport facilities to its students.

The University of Peshawar has its own reputation in the country as well as all over the world land providing modern-day education through professionalism.
The university has aim to promote Islamic, modern, science, art, fun, and technical education in the Province and country.
